Experience in Criminal Law—More than half of my professional time is spent in this field, over the last 33 years this has included representation of over 5,000 defendant clients involving a wide variety of charges from the most serious felonies down to traffic matters, this includes completed trials on charges of murder, attempted murder, armed assault, bank robbery, burglary, rape, grand larceny, auto theft, petit larceny, assault, sexual abuse, shop lifting, endangering child welfare, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, harrassment, and disorderly conduct.
Experience in Decedent’s Estates—Approximately 20% of my professional time for the last 30 years has been devoted to working with decedent’s estates; that experience has included the filing and completion of innumerable proceedings in Surrogate’s Courts involving probate, administration, small estate settlements, infant’s compromise proceedings (including review of structured settlements), accountings, right of election determinations, miscellaneous proceedings, & estate tax proceedings; involvement in the listed matters has been both in the capacity of private counsel to various parties and also as court-appointed Guardian ad litem for others.
